Amounts of one-time monetary assistance in case of injury in war
Military servicemen who have received disability as a result of receiving injuries in war or partial loss of working capacity due to wounds, contusions, mutilations, injuries received during the performance of official duties, have the right to receive a one-time benefit. The same applies to those who were disabled after being discharged from military service. Here are the amounts of compensation for war injuries:
- 1 group of disability — UAH 1,073,600;
- 2nd disability group — UAH 805,200;
- 3rd disability group — UAH 671,000;
- partial loss of working capacity — up to UAH 187,880.
For conscripts who became disabled during the war as a result of injuries (contusions, injuries or mutilations) that occurred during the performance of official duties, or no later than three months after discharge from service due to illness or an accident that occurred during service , one-time cash assistance for 2023 is:
- 1 group of disability — UAH 322,080;
- 2nd disability group — UAH 241,560;
- 3rd disability group — UAH 187,880;
- partial loss of working capacity — up to UAH 134,200.

Procedure for receiving compensation for war injuries
In order to receive compensation for injuries in the war, you must go through several stages:
- Get a certificate about the circumstances of a military serviceman's injuries in war and pass a military medical commission (MMC), which will establish the connection between the injury and the performance of official duties.
- Pass the medical and social expert commission (MSEK), which will determine disability or partial loss of working capacity as a result of an injury in the war.
- Submit documents to receive a one-time financial aid through a military unit, a territorial recruitment and social support center, or independently to the Ministry of Defense.

In order to receive one-time monetary assistance in case of injury in war, the following documents must be submitted: application for payment of a one-time cash benefit in connection with the establishment of disability or partial disability rates of work capacity without establishing disability, a certified copy of the certificate of examination by the medical and social expert commission, which indicates the group of disability or the percentage of the loss of working capacity with an indication of the causal relationship.
Copies of the following documents are also attached to the application:
- Resolutions of the military medical commission, which establishes the causal connection of a wound or other injury received in the war with military service.
- A document confirming the circumstances of a wound or injury in war, in particular, that these circumstances are not related to a violation of the law or actions under the influence of alcohol, drugs or toxic substances.
- Identity document (passport, residence permit, refugee certificate, etc.).
- A document confirming the registration of an individual in the State Register of Taxpayers, or the corresponding page of the passport with a note on the refusal of the registration number due to religious beliefs.
Receipt of funds for war injuries is carried out by transferring the amount to the bank account specified in the application. In case of refusal to pay compensation for war injuries, this decision can be appealed in court.
