What is the difference between "removed" and "excluded" from military registration?

"Removed from military registration" does not mean the loss of the status of conscript. The citizen continues to pass the VLK and update his military registration data. "Excluded from military registration" means that a citizen is unfit for service and is not subject to mobilization. Such persons are released from military duty.

Who can be removed from military registration

According to Article 37 of the Law "On Military Duty and Military Service", citizens of Ukraine may be removed from the military records of conscripts, conscripts and reservists in the relevant district (city) TCC. Conscripts and reservists of the SBU are removed from the records in the Central Administration or regional bodies of the SBU, and conscripts and reservists of the intelligence agencies of Ukraine — in the corresponding division of these bodies.

This applies to the following cases:

Deregistration of conscripts (with the exception of the SBU and intelligence agencies of Ukraine):

• Achieving 25 years of age.
• Moving to another area of ​​Ukraine with registration in a new TCC at the place of residence.
• Completion of basic military training.
• Obtaining special titles after graduating from educational institutions.
• Referral to alternative (non-military) service.
• Direction for serving a sentence or applying compulsory medical measures.

Deregistration of conscripts:

• Moving to another area of ​​Ukraine with registration at the new place of residence.
• Conscript or acceptance for military service or training in military educational institutions.
• Direction for serving a sentence or applying compulsory medical measures.
• Enrollment in the military operational reserve.
• In other cases, by decision of the Ministry of Defense, SBU or intelligence agencies of Ukraine.

Deregistration of reservists:

• Moving to another area of ​​Ukraine with registration at the new place of residence.
• Conscript or acceptance for military service or training in military educational institutions.
• Recruitment to civil defense bodies and units.
• Achieving the maximum age for service in the military reserve or exclusion from the military operational reserve.
• Direction for serving a sentence or applying compulsory medical measures.
• In other cases — by decision of the Ministry of Defense, SBU or intelligence agencies of Ukraine

Who can be excluded from military registration

Citizens of Ukraine who are excluded from military registration:

• deceased or declared missing or declared dead according to law;
• lost Ukrainian citizenship;
• recognized as unfit for military service
• have reached the maximum age of being in stock.

How to withdraw from military registration?

In order to be removed from military registration, a conscript must personally apply to the TCC and SP, where he is registered, and submit a corresponding application.

At the same time, before deregistration during the general mobilization, it is necessary to go through all mobilization procedures: updating the registration data, passing the VLC and determining the grounds for postponement.

In order to be removed from military registration, a conscript must have with him: an application with justification of the grounds for removal, a passport, a military registration document (military ID, temporary identity card of a conscript, etc.), as well as documents confirming the grounds specified in the application.

Removal from military registration is considered completed after receiving the appropriate mark "Removed from military registration" in military registration documents.
