- The spouse of the deceased, including those who lived in a civil marriage with the deceased and this fact is established by the court;
- Parents of the deceased military personnel;
- Grandchildren of the deceased if the parents-heirs have died;
- Dependents of the deceased.
A military personnel can independently make a will in case of their death, indicating who and in what amount should receive payments to families of deceased servicemen. Those who live in Russia or the Republic of Belarus, as well as those convicted of treason or collaboration with the enemy, are not entitled to monetary compensation.
