Replacement of a Military Registration Document
Replacement of a military registration document (military ID or temporary certificate of a reservist) at the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (TRSSC) may be necessary in the following cases:
- Loss or damage to the document
- Change of personal data (name, place of residence, etc.)
- Reaching the required age (for example, transitioning from a conscription certificate to a military ID)
- Obtaining UBD (Combatant Status) if data updates are required
What Is Needed for Replacement?
- Application for document replacement (written at TRSSC or using a provided template)
- Ukrainian citizen's passport (original and copy)
- RNOKPP (tax identification number) (copy)
- Certificate of residence registration (if not listed in the passport)
- Photos (usually 3×4 cm, 2 pieces)
- A document confirming the need for replacement (e.g., loss certificate, court decision on name change, etc.)
- Receipt of administrative fee payment (if applicable)
Where to Apply?
At the TRSSC based on your place of registration. In some cases, you can apply through a military unit (if currently serving) or a CNAP (Administrative Services Center), where applicable.
Deferral from Military Service for Education
A deferral from military service for education is granted in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Military Duty and Military Service."
Who Is Eligible for a Deferral?
- Students enrolled in institutions of professional pre-higher or higher education (colleges, universities) in full-time programs, as well as in vocational (technical) education institutions in full-time programs, and students in foreign educational institutions (with supporting documents).
- Postgraduate students and doctoral candidates pursuing a scientific degree in a full-time program.
- High school students (until they reach 21 years of age).
How to Obtain a Deferral?
- Obtain a certificate from the educational institution (in the prescribed format).
- Submit an application to the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (TRSSC) at the place of registration.
- Provide documents: passport (copy), tax identification number (copy), student ID (if available), and a certificate from the educational institution.
- Wait for the TRSSC’s decision on granting the deferral.
Processing time: Usually a few weeks.
Important
The deferral from military service is valid for the entire period of education.
If a student is expelled, transfers to a part-time program, or completes education, the deferral becomes invalid.
If transitioning to the next level of education (bachelor’s → master’s), the deferral must be renewed.
