Thus, the analysis of documents determines that recently the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a draft law that regulates the social protection of police and military.
Thus, the main purpose of such a law is to improve the main aspects of ensuring certain rights of servicemen and police officers, including the right to medical care, vacation, information, etc.
In addition, the new law also applies to legal guarantees of police officers regarding one-time monetary assistance in the death, loss of its performance, and also on other legal issues in the understanding of military service.
This law also determines the right of servicemen to freely receive, distribute and use information.
Legal analysis of the situation also speaks about the expansion of the rights of the military to receive vacation for treatment. It is determined about the possibility of finding in health care institutions, as well as vacations for treatment through illness or injury. In this case, the monetary support of such servicemen will be kept up to twelve months, including treatment outside Ukraine.
Also, the possibility of enrolling the service of years is determined: 1 month of service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be counted in three months. It is worth saying about the possibility of obtaining compensation in case of unused days of vacation, provided the military is released. In addition, will be determined at the level of legislation and the smallest limit of the monetary payment, which will be guaranteed by the state, the size of which will reach within the framework of the minimum limit – fifteen million hryvnia will be paid to families in which the serviceman died defending Ukraine.
Thus, on the basis of the above, it is possible to draw a legal conclusion that such a law will provide an opportunity to improve the mechanism regarding the provision of certain rights of police officers within the framework of medical support and other issues related to the aspects of social security of such police and military personnel.
