What documents are needed to cross the border, border crossing rules for men. Crossing the border requires the presence of appropriate documents that allow identification of a person and confirm his right to enter or leave the country. Here is a list of basic border crossing documents that are usually required to cross the border:
1. Passport document
International passport: Required for international travel.
Domestic passport: Can be used for identification or domestic flights in some countries.
2. Visas and relevant permits
Visa (if required to enter the country of destination): Depends on nationality and country of destination.
Other migration permits such as work or student visas.
3. Documents confirming the purpose of the trip
An invitation from a person or organization in the country of destination.
Hotel reservation or confirmation of residence.
Tickets (return or further to another country).
4. Additional documents for men of conscription age during martial law in Ukraine
Permission of the military commissariat to travel abroad.
Documents confirming exceptional circumstances: medical certificates, documents confirming guardian status, etc.
5. Special documents for persons with disabilities
A certificate of disability or other medical documents that may be necessary to ensure appropriate conditions during the trip.
6. Documents for children
Birth certificate (for identification and proof of relationship between children and accompanying persons).
Notarized consent from parents or guardians (if the child is traveling without one or both parents).
Crossing the Slovak border requires a certain set of documents. Here is a list of the main documents you need to have with you:
1. Passport document - a foreign passport that must be valid for at least 3 months after the planned date of departure from Slovakia.
2. Visa
Schengen visa (if necessary). Citizens of Ukraine can enter Slovakia without a visa for up to 90 days during each 180-day period if they travel with a biometric passport.
3. Documents confirming the purpose of the trip
Hotel reservation confirmation or other proof of residence.
Invitation from a person or organization in Slovakia.
Return or tickets to another country to demonstrate plans to leave Slovakia.
4. Insurance policy - medical insurance that covers the entire period of stay and has a minimum coverage of 30,000 euros.
5. Financial documents - proof of financial security to cover expenses during the stay (for example, bank statements, cash, credit cards, etc.).
6. Additional documents. If you are traveling by car, you will need a driver's license, vehicle registration certificate, and car insurance (green card).
For entry during martial law in Ukraine, men of conscription age may need permission from the Military Commissariat.
