Academic integrity is an integral part of the process of learning and scientific activity. Ukraine, as a country with a rich scientific tradition, faces a large number of challenges in this field. In this article, we will consider the meaning of academic integrity in the Ukrainian context and the challenges facing the higher education system and scientific institutions in ensuring it.
The importance of academic integrity
Academic integrity is a set of values and principles that govern the behavior of students, teachers, and scientists in the process of learning, research, and publication. It covers aspects such as honesty, intellectual integrity, adherence to rules and standards, absence of plagiarism and data manipulation. Virtue is the basis of high quality education and science, as it ensures trust in the academic environment and promotes the development of intellectual abilities.
Ukraine, like any other country, needs academic integrity to ensure the quality of education and research. This is especially important in the context of the modern world, where access to information has become wide and fast, and competition in the scientific field has become increasingly fierce. Challenges to academic integrity in Ukraine
Ukraine, like many other countries, faces a number of challenges in ensuring academic integrity. One of the most important challenges is plagiarism. Plagiarism is the theft of ideas, texts, or research without proper identification of the source.Ukraine has problems with plagiarism both among students and among scientists. Not all students and scholars understand the consequences of plagiarism and do not always follow the rules of citation and citing sources. This creates serious problems for the quality of education and scientific research in Ukraine.
Another challenge is the lack of an effective plagiarism detection and prevention system. Many Ukrainian universities and scientific institutions do not have adequate resources to detect and respond to plagiarism. This results in many cases of plagiarism going undetected and unpunished, undermining trust in the academic community.
Ways to solve the problem
To solve the problem of plagiarism and ensure academic integrity in Ukraine, it is necessary to adopt a comprehensive approach. Legal analysis of contracts by a lawyer or legal analysis of a contract by a lawyer in the field of providing educational services determines the following aspects.
First, it is important to raise awareness among students and academics about the dangers of plagiarism and the importance of following the rules of academic integrity. This can be done through training seminars, writing and distributing information brochures and other educational activities.

This can be done through the implementation of specialized software tools for checking the originality of texts, as well as through the training of teachers and researchers in methods of detecting and responding to plagiarism.

However, with the help of a comprehensive approach, which includes awareness, education and the introduction of new technologies, these challenges can be successfully overcome and ensure the high quality of academic activity in Ukraine.
