The government approved the plan of measures for the development of the system of professional training of public servants until 2027
What should be the training of public servants so that they can effectively perform their duties and provide services to citizens in the conditions of modern challenges? This question is answered by the Government's order, which determines the directions of development of the professional training system in 2024-2027.
"The priority in the educational activities of the Ukrainian National Labor Service is to create conditions so that the training of public servants is aimed at acquiring and improving modern professional skills necessary for the post-war recovery and development of Ukraine, building a capable service and digital state", - noted the Head of the National Agency of Ukraine for Civil Service Natalia Alyushina.What professional skills are emphasized
The main guidelines of the government order are:
• digitization of services and management processes in the field of professional training;
• increased attention to the quality of professional development of public servants;
• ensuring the inclusiveness of the professional training system;
• development of coaching skills of teachers who conduct professional training, and motivation of public servants to carry out coaching activities;
• regular assessment of the state of the professional training system (according to the system of management indicators) and monitoring of the quality of professional training;
• continuing the development of professional standards as a basis for the professional development of public servants;
• a clear mechanism for organizing professional training of local self-government employees, attention to the training needs of local council deputies;
• updating the standards of higher education in the specialty "Public management and administration" and introducing a dual form of education in this specialty;
• training and psychological support of managers in the de-occupied territories;
• development of professional competences of public servants in matters of preventing the emergence of threats and the onset of crisis situations;
• training on prevention of "professional burnout" of public servants;
• introduction of mobility programs for the internship of civil servants abroad;
• study of foreign languages, in particular summer/winter English-language schools for civil servants;
