According to Article 3 of the Law of Ukraine "On Population Employment", foreigners and stateless persons who meet certain criteria have the right to employment in Ukraine under the same conditions as citizens of Ukraine.
This means that they have the right to look for work, get employment and enjoy all the rights and obligations that are granted to Ukrainian citizens in the field of employment. At the same time, their rights and obligations are determined in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.
The permit to use the labor of foreigners and stateless persons is a document that gives the employer the right to temporarily use the labor of a foreigner or stateless person. This permit is regulated by Part 5 of Article 1 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Legal Status of Foreigners and Stateless Persons".
To obtain a work permit, a foreigner must usually have official employment in Ukraine and submit a corresponding application together with the necessary documentation to the relevant authority. This documentation may include a completed application, a copy of a passport or other identity document, a contract with an employer, and other requirements that may vary depending on the specific circumstances.
A work permit for foreign citizens is issued by the competent authorities in Ukraine on the basis of the application submitted by the employer and the necessary documentation. This document allows the employer to officially hire a foreigner for a certain job or position in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.
Also, the said permit can be used to conclude a gig contract with a foreigner or a stateless person who are residents of Diya City.This document is important for both employers and foreigners, as it regulates the legality of a foreigner's employment in Ukraine and provides a permit for employment in Ukraine.
If a foreigner does not have a permanent residence permit in Ukraine, he must have a work permit to work in the country.
The main rule here is that the employer must obtain permission to use the labor of foreigners from the State Employment Service. This permit gives the right to hire foreigners for a specific workplace or position.
Therefore, before a foreign citizen starts working in Ukraine, his potential employer must take responsibility for obtaining this permission to use the labor of foreigners. This is an important procedure regulated by the legislation of Ukraine and aimed at ensuring legal employment of foreigners in the country.
For obtaining a permit for the employment of foreign citizens in Ukraine, a fee is charged, the amount of which is set from two to six subsistence minimums for able-bodied persons, effective on January 1 of the current calendar year. The size of this fee really depends on the duration of the employment permit: the longer the duration, the higher the fee. To check the exact cost of a work permit in Ukraine, it is better to contact the relevant state authorities that issue such permits. They will be able to provide information on the amount of fees and other costs that may be associated with obtaining a work permit in Ukraine.
