Employment compensation for persons with disabilities.
From April 1, 2024, in accordance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine dated November 9, 2023 No. 3460-IX "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2024", the minimum wage in Ukraine has increased to UAH 8,000. In this regard, the amount of some payments, which depend on the amount of the minimum wage, has changed, including the amount of compensation payments to employers for some categories of employees.
Compensation for the employment of people with disabilities, participants in hostilities, those who have no more than 5 years left before the right to pension due to age, and citizens who have been registered unemployed for more than 1 month now amounts to UAH 8,000 (50% of the actual costs of wages, but not more than the minimum wage). The duration of payment of such compensation is 6 months for each odd month of the employee's work.
Compensation for the employment of internally displaced persons during martial law from April 1, 2024 is UAH 8,000 (1 minimum wage for a fully completed monthly (hourly) work rate). The duration of payment of such compensation is no more than 3 months, and for people with disabilities - no more than 6 months.
