The difference between an e-hospital and a medical report on temporary incapacity
In the modern world, with the development of digital technologies and the information society, new approaches are being actively implemented in the field of medical documentation. One of them is the implementation of e-hospitals, which complement the traditional medical opinion on temporary incapacity. However, it is important to understand the difference between these two concepts and their legal status.
Medical opinion on temporary disability
A medical opinion on temporary incapacity for work is a document issued by a doctor or a medical institution, which confirms the inability of an employee to perform his work duties due to an illness or injury for a certain period of time. It is the basis for receiving appropriate social benefits and ensuring the right to sick leave.
E-hospital
E-hospital is an electronic form of a medical opinion on temporary incapacity, which can be obtained through a specialized information system or a portal of public services. It has the same legal status as a traditional medical opinion and can be used to obtain sick leave and other social benefits.
The difference between e-hospital and medical report
The main difference between e-hospital and medical report is in the form of their presentation. A medical report is usually issued on paper by a doctor or medical institution, while an e-medical report can be obtained electronically via the Internet.Both of these documents have the same legal force and can be used in court proceedings and to obtain relevant rights and benefits in the field of health and social protection.
So, although the form of presentation may differ, both of these documents have the same meaning and perform the same function - they confirm the temporary incapacity of a person due to medical reasons.
A medical opinion on temporary incapacity for work and an e-hospital certificate, which is an electronic analogue of a paper certificate of incapacity for work, are two different electronic documents that are closely related to each other, as they certify the fact of a person's temporary incapacity for work, so it is necessary to understand the difference between them.

The doctor creates the MVTN in the Electronic Health Care System on the basis of medical records (including basic data contained in the family doctor, such as passport data, registration number of the taxpayer's registration card, mobile phone number, etc.).An e-mail of incapacity for work is generated on the basis of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.
E-hospital as a document
E-hospital (incapacity certificate in electronic form) is an electronic document that:
certifies the fact of temporary incapacity;
is the basis for dismissal from work, payment of the first five days of temporary incapacity at the expense of the employer, appointment of material support and provision of social services in accordance with the legislation on mandatory state social insurance.
