One of the attractive destinations is Croatia - a member of the European Union with a beautiful climate, tourist opportunities and a dynamic economy. Ukrainian citizens wishing to reside in Croatia should first contact the Croatian consular office in Ukraine to obtain visa information and necessary documents.
For a long-term legal stay in Croatia, Ukrainians must obtain a residence permit. Let's consider the main ways of obtaining it:
1. Temporary residence permit for war victims
In connection with the military aggression of the Russian Federation, Croatia grants Ukrainians the right to temporary protection. To apply for such a residence permit, you must apply to the Migration Service within 60 days of entry. It is necessary to provide identity documents, a war victim certificate and fingerprints.
