Recently, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine informed that the Main Personnel Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine approved training programs for personnel responsible for the organization and maintenance of military records in the following educational institutions:

• National University of Law named after Yaroslav the Wise;
• Vadym Hetman Kyiv National University of Economics:

Some relief is brought by the norms of paragraph 12 of Order No. 1487, according to which professional development should be carried out at least once every 5 years, and the employer must determine the need for promotion every year by October 1. So, on the one hand, you can refer to the fact that you will send your personnel officer for advanced training within a 5-year period (it is logical to calculate it from the date of entry into force of Order No. 1487, i.e. from January 5, 2023). On the other hand, let's hope that closer to October, a clearer explanation will appear from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine regarding advanced training.
Please note that, in accordance with Clause 72 of Order No. 1487, state bodies, local self-government bodies, enterprises, institutions, organizations (i.e. all legal entities regardless of the form of ownership) every year by February 1 issue orders (orders) on the state of military records for the past year and tasks for the next year on the basis of reports, results of measures taken and checks of the state of military records in the previous year in accordance with competence.
Such orders (ordinances), in particular, define the tasks of improving the qualifications of persons responsible for keeping military records. At the same time, extracts from such orders must be submitted to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by February 10 every year only by state bodies.Summing up, it can be concluded that those responsible for military accounting at the enterprise must undergo advanced training at least once every five years, this must be done according to the program agreed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but this is not free, but for a fee.
