The statement that the role of women in society is significant was not invented simply. And taking into account the current state of war, the mission of women has expanded several times. Therefore, it is not surprising that business women are often found - hired managers of projects or their own business. In such conditions, considerable importance is attached to the development of skills in the better half. For this purpose, launched grants for women in Ukraine are being multiplied. In general, grants for women are not a separate type. In many such incentive programs, there is no gender division of participants. However, some of the grants are purposefully launched under the label grants for women grants for women entrepreneurs, grants for women 2024.
One of these is Empowering Women in Agrifood Ukraine – a support program for women entrepreneurs in agrifood. Potential participants have the opportunity to compete for the opening of new opportunities for the development of their business.
EWA is an initiative of mentoring support for women in the field of agro-food industry. During six months, ten selected participants will have the opportunity to work individually with mentors, participate in offline events and trainings, develop their business skills and expand partnership relations. The program is implemented simultaneously in various European countries and unites more than 500 agrarian women inventors. This is one of the most relevant projects in the category "Grants for women entrepreneurs in Ukraine."

The essence of the project is to receive a personal mentor for each of the participants. During six months, together with a mentor, women will improve their skills, increase their knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship, look for partners and expand the horizons of their own business. It is important that the mentors are experienced specialists in their field and have a large baggage of practical skills related to running a significant and successful agribusiness.
The project provides so-called workshops - online and offline meetings with experts in the field of Agri Food. The participants will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the programs of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology EIT Food about the prospects of attracting grants and funds for their own business and beyond. The selected participants will also be able to prepare to present their startup to the jury and possible future partners.
However, perhaps the most interesting thing is what you can get as a result of participating in the project. Each of the selected participants will be able to present their project at an offline meeting in Kyiv to Agri Food industry experts, potential partners and influential persons of this industry. As a result of this event, you can receive feedback from industry experts and a cash prize of €5,000 and €10,000.
