MOBILIZATION OF VEHICLES
The mobilization of cars for the needs of the army in Ukraine in 2024 will take place in accordance with the amendments to the law, which will enter into force on May 18, 2024.
In the context of military mobilization, Ukrainian special services, including the TCC, the SBU, and others will have the right to requisition the personal transport of citizens based on the decision of local authorities. According to information from the Ministry of Defense, military transport duty was introduced to meet the needs of the military during a special period. The spokesman of the Ministry of Defense, senior lieutenant Dmytro Lazutkin, explained that the mobilization of transport will take place with the help of the TCC, SBU and relevant units of the intelligence agencies of Ukraine, which will act on the basis of the orders of local administrations.
Military transport duty: The law introduces the concept of military transport duty, which provides for the involvement of vehicles (vehicles) for the needs of the army.

Not only cars can be mobilized, but also other types of transport and equipment, including water transport, tractors, agricultural and road construction machines. The process of transfer and return of transport will be regulated by acts of acceptance and transfer, which will record all the necessary data for the identification of vehicles. For example, information about the owner of the vehicle, its technical condition, value, etc. must be recorded in the act.
Mobilization Law No. 10449 specifies that local administrations determine the volume and types of vehicles to be mobilized during mobilization, based on information from the TCC and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The transport can be used to reinforce the Armed Forces and other military formations. The innovation is the concept of a partial order, which obliges enterprises and organizations to ensure the delivery of transport to assembly points and to military units in accordance with the instructions in the order.
