The updated list of documents required for passing the MSEK
From 05/18/2024, changes to the legislation on mobilization and military service are taking place, according to which one of the valid reasons for postponement of mobilization or dismissal from military service, regardless of whether it is a contract or mobilization, is the state of health. Taking into account the mentioned changes, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the list of documents required for medical and social examination.
So, the general documents that the patient submits to undergo MSEK:
▪️passport of a citizen of Ukraine (in the case of presenting a passport of a citizen of Ukraine in the form of an "ID card", also an extract from the register of the territorial community);
▪️certificate on the assignment of the taxpayer's registration number;
▪️for men aged 18 to 60, a military ID or a certificate of registration (temporary certificate of a conscript) or a certificate of registration at a conscription station;
▪️for people who have been deprived of personal freedom as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine or internment in neutral states - a certificate of stay in places of deprivation of liberty as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine.
Medical documents submitted by medical advisory commissions to MSEK are as follows:
▪️ referral to MSEK;
▪️medical documents related to the disease or condition (extract from the medical card);
▪️the results of laboratory and other studies confirming the diagnosis or condition and its degree of severity;
▪️ medical, professional and individual rehabilitation plan;
▪️documents confirming the causal relationship with disability;
▪️documents confirming continuous temporary incapacity for work for four months.
Also, the changes concern the passing of MSEK by military personnel. So, from now on, the causation of disability, as well as the degree of loss of working capacity of former servicemen, will be established on the basis of the decision of the VLK, issued with a certificate of the VLK, a certificate of illness or the minutes of a meeting of the regular VLK.
The commission will determine the degree of servicemen's incapacity for work after the end of their treatment. Based on the data on the loss of health, the commission will develop a program of medical, professional and social rehabilitation.
