The 7th National Competition for the best legal edition has been announced.
The World Congress of Ukrainian Lawyers announced the start of the VII National Competition for the best legal publication.
At the third meeting of the organizing committee of the VII National Competition for the Best Legal Edition (hereinafter referred to as the Competition), which took place on May 1, 2024, the deadlines for individual competition events were specified, the list of competition commissions and institutions on the basis of which they will work was finally approved, and their heads were elected (co-chairs). In particular:
the first competition commission
(by nominations: legal collective monographic publications; legal individual monographic publications)
Oleksandr Vasyliovych Skrypniuk, director of the Institute of State and Law named after V.M.Koretsky of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, doctor of legal sciences, professor, academician of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, honored lawyer of Ukraine;
of the second competition commission
(by nominations: legal textbooks; teaching aids / workshops, lecture courses, textbooks, etc.)
Yuriy Ladyslavovych Boshytskyi, rector of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, candidate of legal sciences, professor, honored lawyer of Ukraine;
Valentyn Vasyliovych Kovalenko, First Deputy Chairman of the Kyiv City Organization of the Union of Lawyers of Ukraine, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine;

Serhiy Eduardovich Demskyi, deputy director of the state enterprise "Voice of Ukraine", honored lawyer of Ukraine;
of the fourth competitive commission
(by nomination: postgraduate and student scientific publications in legal periodicals)
Lazura Yaroslav Volodymyrovych, dean of the Faculty of Law of Uzhgorod National University, doctor of legal sciences, professor;
Kostytsky Vasyl Vasyliovych, People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd convocations, doctor of legal sciences, professor, academician of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, honored lawyer of Ukraine.The heads of the tender commissions are recommended to hold the first meetings of the tender commissions by May 20, 2024, at which to approve: proposals regarding the personal composition of the tender commissions; work plans of tender commissions; lists of specialists who will be involved in the examination of legal publications; working groups on competition issues (if necessary) in accordance with the Regulation on competition commissions for review and evaluation of legal publications.

The Competition accepts published legal publications until July 1, 2024, as well as publications made public using electronic means (Internet) in 2020-2024 and nominated for the Competition by academic councils of educational institutions and scientific institutions, directorates of publishing houses and editorial boards of periodicals, collectives of authors, as well as individual authors.
The results of the Competition are summarized on the eve of the professional holiday - Lawyer's Day.
