In order to get a license, it is not enough to simply submit an application, because it is necessary to bring your business into compliance with the licensing requirements.
Licensing requirements in the field of cryptographic protection of information in Ukraine can be quite strict and carefully regulated to ensure the security and confidentiality of information. Here are some typical requirements that may exist:
Qualifications and Certification: Individuals working in this field may require certain qualifications and certifications to ensure the appropriate level of professionalism and knowledge in the field of cryptographic security. The licensee may be required to have relevant education or experience in the field of cryptographic information protection. This may include a technical degree in information technology, cyber security or cryptography, as well as previous work in the field.
Technical requirements: Companies and organizations that work with cryptographic protection of information may be required to comply with certain technical requirements for the protection and security of information, including the use of certain cryptographic methods and standards. Obtaining a license to provide cryptographic protection services in Ukraine is regulated by the relevant legislation. The main steps for obtaining such a license may include:

This may include checking required documents, qualification requirements, technical standards, etc.
Preparation of documents: After familiarizing yourself with the requirements, you need to prepare all the necessary documents for applying for a license. This may include filling in forms, submitting financial statements, copies of education and qualification documents, business planning, etc.
Applying: After preparing all the necessary documents, you need to apply for a license to the relevant authority or institution responsible for regulating the industry. In particular, the application and all necessary documents are submitted to the Administration of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, because it will act as the licensing authority.
Verification of the application: After submitting the application, the licensing authority verifies all submitted documents and information.
Payment of the cost of the license: You need to pay the cost of the license in accordance with the established tariff rate.
Issuance of a license: After a positive review of the application and payment of the license fee, the applicant will be issued a license to carry out the relevant activity. This license may have an expiration date and certain conditions that must be met.
