Public organizations in partnership with local authorities, public organizations, business associations, educational institutions and/or enterprises are invited to participate. The proposed projects must be implemented in the following regions:
- Chernivtsi
- Khmelnytska
- Ternopil
- Vinnitsa
- Volynsk
Financial details
- Grant amount: up to $70,000
- Deadline: June 15
- Implementation period: a maximum of 6 months from the start date after signing the grant agreement.
- Co-financing: Applicants must provide co-financing in the amount of at least 10% of the requested grant, exclusively in cash.
Objectives and expected results
The Partnership for Recovery grant program is aimed at solving urgent problems faced by Ukrainian communities during the ongoing conflict. The program aims to integrate and support vulnerable groups such as veterans, migrants and people with disabilities. The main objectives include:
- Increasing the availability of municipal infrastructure.
- Expanding the participation of underrepresented groups in local governance.
- Strengthening the potential of service providers.
- Creation of new economic opportunities.
Submission rules
To apply, NGOs must ensure that their proposals meet the following requirements:
1. Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must be legally registered in Ukraine as of January 2022, have non-profit status and operate in government-controlled territories.
2. Project Team: To receive a grant, the team must include at least a project manager and a financial manager with relevant experience. If necessary, additional specialists may be included.
3. Eligible Expenses: Funds may be used for expert fees, purchase of necessary goods and services, communication costs, consulting, research, IT services, and specific transportation costs related to the project.
4. Ineligible Expenses: Operating expenses not related to project activities, salaries of non-project team members, preparation costs, taxes, fines, debt obligations, and acquisition of real estate are not covered.
5. Procurement Policy: All procurement must comply with UNDP procedures and be directed towards the achievement of project objectives with transparency and accountability.
How to apply
The application package must contain:
1. Project proposal: Filled in according to the provided template (Appendix A).
2. Approximate budget: submitted in Excel format (Appendix B).
3. Partnership Declaration: (Appendix C).
4. Bank statement: Valid hryvnia account.
5. Certificate of registration.
6. Certificate of non-profitability.
7. Summary: Project manager and accountant.
