April 19, 2024 became an important date for the legal community of Lviv, as the Scientific and Practical Center of the Department of Administrative and Financial Law of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv was officially opened on the basis of the Eighth Administrative Court of Appeal. This event was celebrated by representatives of the court, the university and the professional community, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between educational and judicial institutions for improving the quality of justice and training qualified lawyers.
Cooperation between the Eighth AAS and LNU named after I. Franko
The ceremonial opening of the Center was attended by the head of the Eighth AAS Oleg Zaverukha, rector of LNU named after I. Franka Volodymyr Melnyk, vice-rector of LNU named after I. Franka Serhiy Riznyk, head of the department of administrative and financial law of LNU named after I. Franka Mykola Kobyletskyi, judges of the Eighth AAS and professors and teaching staff of the Department of Administrative and Financial Law of LNU named after I. Franko.
Oleg Zaverukha, the head of the Eighth AAS, in his speech emphasized the importance of partnership between the judicial and educational sectors for improving the quality of justice and training specialists. He noted that the center is the result of joint work and dedication of both sides of cooperation, which aims to promote the effective work of justice and increase the level of professional training of students.
Rector Volodymyr Melnyk expressed his gratitude to the head of the court for the initiative to open the center and emphasized the importance of such cooperation for the modernization of the educational process and the training of qualified lawyers. He also emphasized that the opening of the center is an important step for deepening cooperation between the university and the court and has great positive prospects for the entire legal community.

The scientific and practical center was created to ensure effective cooperation between the Eighth Administrative Court of Appeal and Ivan Franko Lviv National University.
