Annual basic leave
The duration of annual basic leave is up to 30 calendar days. It can be divided into parts of 15 days, provided that no more than 30% of servicemen of a certain category of the unit rest at the same time. Time for travel to and from the place of vacation is not taken into account, but no more than two days one way.
Leave for family reasons and other valid reasons
The duration of this leave is up to 10 calendar days. Time for travel to and from the place of vacation is not taken into account, but no more than two days one way.
Medical leave Conclusions of the military medical commission
Leave for treatment requires an official opinion of the military medical commission. This means that the illness or injury must be confirmed by medical professionals.
The duration of leave is determined by the nature of the illness or injury. This may vary on a case-by-case basis. There is a limit to the length of continuous medical leave. Usually it is no more than four months in a row, except when the legislation provides for longer terms.
After the expiration of the established period of leave, the serviceman must undergo a re-examination by the military medical commission to resolve the issue of his suitability for service.
Leave for treatment is not granted after the issuance of an order on the release of a serviceman from military service.
These regulations are intended to ensure that service members receive the necessary medical care and return to duty after recovery, if possible.
Leave for conscript military servicemen
