Marriage contract in Ukraine. Order of conclusion
A marriage contract is a relatively new concept for Ukrainian legislation, but it is gaining more and more popularity among married couples. Analysis of the marriage contract shows that it is a legal document that regulates the property and non-property rights and obligations of the spouses during the marriage and in the event of its dissolution.
According to the Family Code of Ukraine, a marriage contract can be concluded by persons who have applied for marriage registration, as well as spouses. It enters into force on the day of registration of the marriage or on the day of its notarization, if concluded during the marriage.
The marriage contract cannot regulate the personal relations of the spouses, have conditions that violate the rights of the child or degrade human dignity. A standard marriage contract in Ukraine may contain provisions on:

- Place of residence and upbringing of children after divorce.
The procedure for concluding a marriage contract requires a mandatory notarial certificate. A marriage contract with foreigners is also subject to notarization and is regulated by the current legislation of Ukraine.
A marriage contract is concluded in writing and may contain any conditions that do not contradict the law and moral principles of society. The terms of the marriage contract are determined by the spouses at their own discretion.
The importance of a marriage contract is the ability to settle property issues in advance, prevent disputes in the event of a divorce, and determine the rights and obligations of spouses. A marriage contract, or contract, is a legally binding document for both parties.

The price for concluding a marriage contract depends on the notary and the volume of the document. On average, the cost ranges from 1,000 to 5,000 hryvnias.
Therefore, the marriage contract in Ukraine is a completely legitimate legal document that regulates the property relations of spouses. It is concluded in writing and requires notarization. The procedure for its conclusion is determined by legislation, which guarantees the protection of the rights and interests of both parties.
