Ways to obtain PMP in France
1. Long-term visa (Visa de long séjour - Visiteur)
This visa is designed for citizens of countries that are not members of the European Union and allows you to stay in France for a long time without the right to work. The main condition for obtaining it is the presence of a stable and sufficient source of income that allows you to provide for yourself and your family without the need for employment.
A long-term visa is issued for one year with the possibility of extension for an unlimited number of times. Spouse, minor children and dependent parents can get this visa together with the applicant.
2. Permanent residence permit (Carte de résident)
To obtain this permission, one of the following conditions must be met:
Employment: If you are employed under an employment contract, your employer can claim you as an employee. If approved, you will receive a PMP for a period of 1 to 10 years.
Starting your own business: Creating a new company or opening a branch of a Ukrainian company in France.
Education: Admission to a French university.

The main requirements for obtaining a PMP include the availability of housing (own or rented), financial stability, command of the French language at a conversational level and no criminal record.
3. French citizenship
Obtaining French citizenship is the most complicated process that requires compliance with a number of conditions:
Origin: If one of the parents is a French citizen.
Birth: Children born in France can claim citizenship after turning 16, provided they have lived in the country for at least five years.
Marriage: After four years of living together with a French citizen, you can apply for citizenship.
Service in the French Foreign Legion.
Five years of legal residence: After five years of legal residence in France, you can apply for citizenship.
