Who is entitled to temporary protection?
You can apply for temporary protection if you:
A citizen of Ukraine.
A person who was granted international or equivalent national protection in Ukraine until February 24, 2022.
A family member of a citizen of Ukraine or a person who was granted international or equivalent national protection in Ukraine until February 24, 2022 (provided that the family member lived on the territory of Ukraine until February 24, 2022).
A foreigner who, as of February 24, 2022, had a permanent residence permit in Ukraine and cannot safely return to his country.
What does this status give?
With the status of temporary protection, you will have access to the following services and rights:

An application for granting temporary protection can be submitted in the following places:
Help Center, Bratislava, Bottova 7: Monday - Wednesday: 8:00 - 17:15, Thursday - Friday: 8:00 - 15:30.
Foreign police departments in various cities of Slovakia (Nitra, Žilina, Banska Bystrica, Košice, etc.).: Monday - Wednesday - Friday from 07:30 to 15:30.
Foreign Police Department, Bratislava Regrútska 4: Only pregnant women, families with children, elderly people over 65 and other socially vulnerable persons register for temporary protection status.
