Adoption of the draft law on the improvement of execution of punishment in the form of fines and public works
On May 22, 2024, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported in the first reading a draft law aimed at improving the execution of punishments in the form of fines and community service. The purpose of this draft law is to improve the mechanisms for the implementation of these types of punishments, to make them more effective and in line with modern requirements of justice.
