Legal regulation of land relations
Land ownership
Land ownership involves assigning the right of ownership or use to a certain entity. The following forms of land ownership exist in Ukraine:

Land use
Land use may be permanent or temporary. Permanent use is granted for an indefinite period of time, and temporary use is granted for a period specified in the lease agreement or other title document.
Land lease
Land lease is a form of using a land plot on the basis of a lease agreement. The lease may be short-term (up to 5 years) or long-term (up to 50 years). The lessee has the right to use the land plot in accordance with the terms of the agreement and the designated purpose of the land.
