These may be children who have fallen into difficult life circumstances, such as family violence, abuse, poverty or other difficulties that make it difficult for them to be brought up in a family.
These are children who have physical, mental or emotional limitations that require special care and support. In many cases, families who can accept such children need additional training and support.
These are children who are under the care of the state or are in foster families, and who may need adoption due to the lack of a stable family situation.
All these children need the stability, security and love that adoption into a kind and supportive family can provide.
Registration of children who can be adopted
An adoptable registry is a systematic process of collecting and managing information about children in need of adoption. Guardianship and adoption authorities keep such records in order to ensure proper care and adoption for these children.
The main stages of registration of children who can be adopted include:
Child registration:
This includes the collection of basic information about the child, such as his personal data, medical history, health status, psychological characteristics and other important data.
Assessment of the child's needs:
Guardianship and adoption agencies conduct an assessment of the child's needs, including physical, emotional and social needs.
Determining the status of a child for adoption:
This includes determining whether the child meets the criteria for adoption, such as orphan status or loss of parental care.
Search for adopters:
Guardianship and adoption agencies are looking for families who want to adopt a child and meet the criteria for adoption.
Adoption support:
After choosing adoptive parents, the child and their family receive assistance and support in the process of adaptation and integration.

The adoption process in Ukraine usually includes the following stages
Preparation for adoption:
All prospective adopters register their intentions and undergo preparatory courses and a screening to assess their suitability for adoption.
Child search:
After the training is completed, adoptive parents are actively looking for a child to adopt. This process may include reviewing profiles of children in need of adoption and coordinating with relevant government agencies.
Preparation of documents and application submission:
After choosing a child, adopters prepare the necessary documents and submit an application for adoption in accordance with the requirements of the law.
Review and judgment:
After the application is submitted, all participants undergo an examination, and the court considers the case and makes a decision on adoption.
Preparation for adaptation and support after adoption:
After adoption, the child and adoptive parents receive support and training for successful adaptation and integration into the new family.
Ukrainian legislation also provides for the protection of the rights and interests of children in the adoption process, as well as sets requirements for adoptive parents to ensure the safety and well-being of adopted children.
