Introduction
Participants in hostilities defending our country are entitled to a number of benefits and compensations. One such compensation is payment for unused vacation days. Who is compensated?
Cash compensation for unused vacation days is provided for all combatants who were unable to use their vacation days during service. This concerns:
Conscript servicemen:
Persons who are in military service and have not used all their vacation days.
Servicemen of contract service:
Persons who perform military service under a contract and have unused vacation days.
Military servicemen who are discharged or end their service:
Individuals who leave the service or terminate the contract but have not used all of their eligible vacation days.
Conditions for providing compensation
To receive monetary compensation for unused vacation days, combatants must meet certain criteria:
Official confirmation of status: A military serviceman must have the official status of a participant in hostilities, confirmed by relevant documents.
Availability of unused vacation days: There must be an official record of the number of unused vacation days in the relevant documents of the military unit or unit.Application for compensation: A military serviceman must submit an official application for receiving monetary compensation for unused vacation days.
Amount of compensation

Documentation: Commands or relevant services issue the necessary documents confirming the number of unused vacation days.
Submitting an application for compensation: A military serviceman submits an application for monetary compensation to the relevant financial authority.
Examination of the application: The financial body examines the application and makes a decision on the payment of compensation.
Payment of compensation: After the decision is made, the compensation is paid to the serviceman's account.
