Introduction

For example, the amount of monthly allowance per child in 2023 is only 1,800 hryvnias, which is not always enough to meet the needs of the child.
In addition, the receipt of social assistance by large families is often associated with bureaucratic obstacles and the complexity of drawing up the necessary documents. This creates additional difficulties for families who are already in a difficult situation.
Another shortcoming of the system is that it does not always take into account the specific needs of large families. For example, the lack of opportunity to obtain subsidized housing or a subsidy for the purchase of a larger housing area for such families.
It should also be noted that the system of social assistance to large families in Ukraine does not always effectively cover all families in need of support. Part of families with many children, especially those from the risk group, may remain outside the scope of state assistance due to insufficient information or the complexity of filing documents.Ways of improving the system of social assistance to large families
To improve the effectiveness of the social assistance system for large families in Ukraine, a number of measures must be taken:
Increasing the amount of state aid for children in large families. This will significantly improve the financial situation of such families and ensure proper conditions for raising children.
Simplification of the procedure for filing documents for receiving social assistance. It is necessary to minimize bureaucratic obstacles and create more comfortable conditions for large families.
Expanding the list of benefits and preferences for large families. In particular, it is worth providing for the possibility of obtaining subsidized housing or subsidies for its purchase, as well as providing other priorities when solving social issues.
Strengthening the information campaign regarding the available types of social assistance for large families. It is necessary to ensure proper informing of such families about their rights and possibilities of receiving state support.
Implementation of the targeted approach in the provision of social assistance. It is important to provide assistance to those families with many children who need it the most, taking into account the level of their financial situation.
The implementation of these and other measures will significantly increase the effectiveness of the system of social assistance to large families in Ukraine and improve the living conditions of such families.
Conclusion
The system of social assistance to large families in Ukraine has both advantages and disadvantages. On the one hand, it provides financial support, benefits and preferences for such families, contributing to the improvement of their financial situation. On the other hand, the amount of assistance is insufficient, and the procedure for its registration is too bureaucratic.
In order to increase the effectiveness of the system of social support for large families, it is necessary to increase the amount of assistance, simplify the procedure for its registration, expand the list of benefits and preferences, as well as ensure that citizens are properly informed about the available types of support. The implementation of these measures will significantly improve the living conditions of large families in Ukraine.
