Business entities that must have an environmental impact assessment report
An environmental impact assessment (EIA) conclusion is required for business entities that carry out activities that may have a significant impact on the environment. This applies to enterprises and organizations whose activities are related to the construction, reconstruction, expansion or technical re-equipment of objects that may affect the environment.
Types of economic activity for which an OVD opinion is required
1. Industrial enterprises (metallurgical, chemical, petrochemical, etc.).
2. Energy projects (construction and operation of power plants, hydroelectric power plants).

The deadline for considering the application and issuing a conclusion
1. An application for an opinion is considered within 30 working days from the date of its submission.
2. The process of issuing a conclusion continues within 30 working days after the completion of the review of the application, unless additional documents or clarifications are required.

3. Any interested persons through requests to the relevant authorities or open registers.
