A person with a disability is a term used to describe a person who has a physical, mental or mental limitation that hinders or hinders their ability to lead a normal life or perform various functions in society.
Disability can be caused by various causes, such as birth defects, injuries, diseases, mental disorders or old age. It can be temporary or permanent, full or partial.
It is important to emphasize that disability should not be an obstacle to a full life, and society should provide equal opportunities and support for all its members. People with disabilities can make important contributions to society and have the right to access education, work, health care and other services that help them live independent and fulfilling lives.
Deferral of people with disabilities. In Ukraine, the process of obtaining a deferment from mobilization for people with disabilities is regulated by legislation and relevant legal acts.
The main institution responsible for regulating this issue is the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the current legislation, people with disabilities can apply for deferment from mobilization through the military commissariat. For this, it is usually necessary to provide a medical certificate confirming the presence of disability and the degree of limitations, as well as other necessary documents required by the military commission.A postponement from mobilization can be granted for a certain period or until the restoration of health, which will allow a person to perform the duties of military service.
If a person with a disability in Ukraine needs a postponement of mobilization, he can apply to the military commissariat at the place of registration or residence. Military commissariats are bodies responsible for registration and mobilization of citizens for conscription.
Here are some steps you can take to apply:
1. Collection of documents: It is necessary to have with you documents confirming the status of a disabled person. This can be a medical certificate that confirms the disability and its degree, as well as any other documents that may be required to confirm the circumstances.
2. Visiting the military commissariat: In person, contact the military commissariat at your place of residence or residence. There you will be provided with the necessary information and further steps will be explained.
3. Application submission: Fill out the appropriate application for deferment from mobilization and submit it together with the necessary documents to the military commissariat.
4. Waiting for a decision: After submitting the application and documents, the military commission will consider your case and make a decision on granting a deferment.
