Allowance for special features of military service: who is entitled to it and to what amount
The issue of payment of allowances for special features of military service is regulated by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On financial support of military personnel, members of the rank and file and some other persons" dated August 30, 2017 No. 704 and the order of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine "On approval of the Procedure for the payment of financial support to servicemen of the Armed Forces" Forces of Ukraine and some other persons" dated June 7, 2018 No. 260.
Military personnel (except conscript military personnel) have the right to monthly allowances in the amount of up to 100 percent of the official salary, salary for military rank and seniority allowances, depending on the complexity and importance of the duties performed.
All servicemen, except for certain categories, receive an allowance of 65%.Servicemen who are serving in military service in the following positions are entitled to an allowance in the amount of 68.25%:
in infectious diseases clinics, infectious departments, wards and isolation rooms for infectious patients of military medical clinical centers of all names, military hospitals, infirmaries, medical rehabilitation and sanatorium treatment centers, military sanatoriums;
in departments, wards and isolation rooms for helminthological patients of all types of military medical clinical centers, military hospitals and infirmaries;
in departments, departments, wards for burn and spinal patients (including neurosurgical departments, clinics) of hospitals, military medical clinical centers of all names, clinics and infirmaries, as well as departments for spinal injuries. right
The allowance for the specifics of military service is one of the elements of the financial support of military personnel. This is an additional payment given to military personnel for performing special tasks or working in conditions different from normal service conditions.
