The law highlights the possibilities for dismissal from service:
Concluding a contract for a period before the expiration of a special period or;
Prior to the announcement of the decision to demobilize and have served at least 24 months of military service under the contract, if they did not express a desire to continue military service during the period.
A successful decision on dismissal from military service is possible with:
Compliance of the terms in the contract with the terms specified in the legislation;
A well-written report on the granting of leave for health reasons.

Those who, at the time of obtaining the right to dismissal from service, perform tasks in the interests of the defense of Ukraine during the special period, take a direct part in the conduct of military (combat) operations, including in the territory of the anti-terrorist operation, as well as in areas where measures are being taken to ensuring national security and defense, repelling and deterring the armed aggression of the state, formally or actually a participant in hostilities against Ukraine - the decision is provided within three months from the date of completion of such tasks.
What should you pay attention to when writing a report?
The report on the dismissal of contract servicemen from military service requires special attention, because it combines several norms on which it is drawn up. However, a well-written report with a specific and understandable structure is more likely to get the desired result.
At the beginning of the report, it is necessary to state the facts of the situation as best as possible. Describe the date of conclusion of the contract for military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Here you also need to indicate the category of the position (private, sergeant, officer).
In the future, having made a reference to the norm of the law, according to which you want to be dismissed from service due to your unwillingness to renew the contract for military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, you should choose one of the two conditions of the recommended norm proposed above.
