Lifting assistance report

Receiving lifting assistance is relevant for military personnel who, in connection with the passage of military service, were forced to change their place of service with an appointment to a military position.

In the event of a change in the place of residence of family members of a serviceman who is forced to change the place of military service to another settlement, such a serviceman has the right to receive additional payments for each family member.

When does the right to apply for lifting assistance arise?

Lifting assistance payments are regulated by the Procedure for the payment of lifting assistance to the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, approved by order of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine No. 45 dated 05.02.2018. The right to receive lifting assistance arises:

As of the date of acceptance by the serviceman of the position and - for servicemen who have moved a new place of service from one locality to another in connection with their appointment to the position;

On the date of enrollment for training - for military personnel who are enrolled for training in military educational institutions;

On the date of arrival at the place of deployment, announced by order of the commander of the military unit - for military personnel who have moved to a new place of service as part of a military unit (unit) in another locality.

Please note that lifting payments for changing the place of residence of each of the members of the family of a serviceman can be received only after registration at a new place.

Also note that the payment of lifting can be made provided that the report on the accrual of such assistance was submitted within three years from the date of the occurrence of such a right!

Lifting report: content and structure

In the case of a Lift Assistance Report, you must specify the basis on which you are entitled to claim such payment.

Once you have determined the reason and purpose of the report, start with your initials, title, and reason for granting cash assistance.

However, it is much more important to decide on the necessary list of documents that should be added to the report. The basic package of documents consists of:

Passport copies;

Copies of the identification code of the person of the taxpayer;

Extracts from the order of appointment to the position;

Certificates of registration and deregistration of the place of residence.

In case you have changed your place of residence with members of your family, you will also need:

Copy of marriage certificate;

Copy of passport (spouse / wife);

A copy of the identification code of the taxpayer's person (spouse/wife);

A copy of the child's birth certificate.
