The Criminal Code of Ukraine stipulates that fraud is an action that is prosecuted and consists in taking possession of property that does not belong by deception or abuse of trust in any way. Fraud and criminal prosecution for this act are detailed in Article 190, part one of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. This is a crime of low and medium severity.

What punishment can a fraud lawyer get in court

The Criminal Code of Ukraine describes in detail the punishments promised to criminals for fraud. The penalty is a fine of up to 100 minimum incomes or corrective works for up to 2 years. The court can also impose imprisonment of up to 3 years.

Part three. Describes fraud on a very large scale or the implementation of illegal fraudulent activities using various electronic computing machines. Any fraud lawyer will point out that in this case, the criminal can receive up to 8 years in prison.

Part four. Indicates fraud committed on a particularly large scale or by a group. In this case, criminals may lose their freedom for a maximum term of 12 years with confiscation of property.
