У разі незгоди з постановою ВЛК, порушенням процедури обстеження чи не врахування захворювань потрібно оскаржувати постанову ВЛК шляхом подання скарги до ЦВЛК, вказуючи підстави для перегляду, додати копії постанови ВЛК, додаткові довідки чи обстеження з лікувальних закладів. Крім подачі скарги до ЦВЛК є судовий порядок оскарження - шлязом подачі позову до адміністративного суду. Адміністративний суд лише приймає рішення щодо скасування чи підтвердження правомірності процедури огляду, на діагноз та інші медичні визначення не впливає.
