Якщо ваша травма пов'язана з виконанням військових обов'язків (у тому числі під час бойових дій), то ви маєте право на грошову компенсацію за поранення чи травму, згідно з чинним законодавством. Якщо у висновку ВЛК зазначено, що травма пов'язана з проходженням служби, ви маєте право вимагати компенсації, звернувшись до відповідних органів, що займаються соціальними виплатами для військових. Якщо у довідці зазначено, що травма не пов'язана з виконанням військового обов'язку, то у вас є можливість оскаржити це рішення. Але з Ваших слів, в довідці написано, що травма пов'язана з захистом батьківщини, це надає вам певні переваги та права відповідно до законодавства України, зокрема в частині виплат, компенсацій та соціального захисту.
