Recently, our team was asked a question: “Чи можуть з ДШВ перевести в ТРО, якщо я маю відношення. Чи таке не можливо зробити?”

16.08.2023 11:13:22 Так, можна перетворити відношення з декартового добутку множин (ДШВ) до таблиці реляційної бази даних (ТРО). Цей процес називається нормалізацією. Нормалізація полягає у розбитті великого відношення на менші, більш специфічні таблиці, що допомагають зменшити повторення даних і покращують ефективність запитувань. Наприклад, якщо у вас є ДШВ "Студенти", яке має атрибути "ID студента", "Прізвище", "Група" та "Предмет", то це можна перетворити на двi ТРО: "Студенти" з атрибутами "ID студента", "Прiзвище" та "Група" та "Оцiнки" з атрибутами "ID студента", "Предмет" та "Оцiнка". Зроблення такої нормалiзацiї можливо і корисно для покращення органiзацii данних у базi даних.
