У багатьох країнах існують певні критерії, яким потрібно відповідати, щоб отримати відстрочку. Україна, наприклад, має спеціальну командування Збройних Сил для розгляду справ осіб з обмеженими функціональними можливостями. Це командування приймає рештки про надання визначеного статусу особам з інвалідністю та можливостями. Особам з цим статусом може бути надана виняткова допомога або застосовано інша процедура для отримання виключення або позачергового призову до служби. Якщо у Вас є оформлений догляд над інвалідом 2 групи, рекомендацією буде звернутися до місцевих військових органів або відповідних установ, щоб отримати точну інформацію про правила та процедуру отримання відстрочки від мобілізації у Вашому конкретному регіоні.
