Deadline for receiving aid
Families of captured soldiers will receive payments up to and including the day of their release. At the same time, the families of the missing soldiers will receive financial support until they are recognized as dead in a court of law or are finally removed from the personnel lists of the military unit.
The court has the right to recognize missing military personnel as dead after two years from the date of termination or cancellation of martial law, provided, however, that the reasons for their disappearance are known. For example, if the disappearance occurred during the performance of a combat mission, the court can declare a natural person dead even before this period expires, but not earlier than six months later.
Persons entitled to receive benefits
The wife of a missing or captured military person has the first right to financial assistance from the state, followed by his parents.

- Legal representatives, such as guardians, custodians or adoptive parents of minor children or persons with disabilities since childhood, regardless of age;
