A person with a disability of group 2 is a person who has serious, but not critical, health impairments or functional limitations that limit his ability to independent activities and require certain social protection and assistance. This group is determined by the medical and social expert commission (MSEK) on the basis of a medical examination and assessment of a person's state of health.
Crossing the border for persons with disabilities of the 2nd group during the martial law in Ukraine has certain features. According to the current legislation, persons with disabilities, in particular groups 2, have the right to travel abroad under certain conditions.

- Purpose of departure: departure can be for various purposes: treatment abroad, solving other personal issues (for example, visiting relatives or moving), work or study abroad.
When crossing the border, it is important that all documents are in order. The absence of the necessary documents or their incorrect form may cause the refusal of departure.
