Business registration in Poland: successful start of a sushi restaurant
In this case, a client contacted us with an idea to open his own sushi restaurant in Poland. However, he had no experience of doing business abroad and did not know the local legislation and requirements for registering a company. In addition, it was important to choose the optimal form of taxation to reduce costs and maximize profits.
The task was to ensure fast, legal and convenient business registration, which would allow the client to start his business quickly. After conducting a consultation, we determined that sole proprietorship (jednoosobowa działalność gospodarcza, JDG) was the best option for the client in this case.
Preparation and submission of documents
To register a JDG, we prepared a full package of documents. This included submitting an application to the Central Register and CEIDG business information, as well as the necessary documents to obtain a NIP tax identification number and a REGON statistical number. The entire registration process took only one day, as we carefully prepared the documents and properly completed the application.
Choosing the optimal taxation system
In order to minimize tax expenses, we chose the simplified taxation system - ryczałt (3%). This allows us to pay taxes only on income without the need for complex cost calculations. In addition, we explained the client's tax obligations in detail and helped him choose the correct activity code according to the Polish PKD classifier.
Registration of a cash register and preparation for work
In order to officially accept payments from customers, we helped to register the cash register with the tax office and familiarized the client with the accounting requirements. In addition, we advised on the sanitary control requirements and licenses required for the restaurant.
Business launch and first successes
After all the preparations were completed, the client successfully launched his sushi restaurant without any delays. He now has a fully legal business in Poland with minimal tax costs and the ability to operate officially without any risks.
Result:
- Successful business registration: the whole process took only 1 day.
Optimal taxation system: choosing the simplified taxation system (3% tax rate).
Cash register registration: officially obtaining all the necessary numbers for your business.
Legal start: opening a restaurant without unnecessary bureaucratic obstacles.
