During the period of martial law, military personnel are provided with additional remuneration and remuneration for special features of service during martial law, in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated February 28, 2022 No. 168 "Issues of certain payments to military personnel, rank and file officers, police officers and their families" pits during martial law". This is stated in the Procedure for payment of financial support to servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and some other persons, approved by order of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine dated June 7, 2018 No. 260 (as amended).
Military personnel who are entitled to additional remuneration during martial law may include various categories, usually they are the rank and file of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and may also refer to some other categories specified in the relevant legislative acts and regulatory documents. The detailed conditions for receiving an additional reward are established by legislation and regulations that regulate military status and payments to military personnel.
According to Clause 2 of Section I of the Order of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine No. 260 dated 07.06.2018 "On Approval of the Procedure for Paying Financial Support to Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Certain Other Persons", the main monthly types include official salary, salary by military rank, and seniority allowance. Additional monthly types may include salary increases, allowances, bonuses and bonuses. One-time additional types may include rewards and benefits. Financial aid for the recovery of military personnel is provided in the following cases:
During the annual basic leave of full duration.
In the second part of the annual basic vacation, including cases when the vacation in previous years was not used (if it is provided for in the terms of the vacation).Without going on leave according to the report in the current year based on the order of the commander of the military unit.
Payments to military personnel and their families may include a variety of benefits and rewards provided by law and regulations. Some of these may include:
