In this article, we will consider the key steps and tips for obtaining a residence permit in France for citizens of Ukraine.
France is recognized as the cultural capital of Europe and one of the most developed countries in the world. During the war in Ukraine, this country became a refuge for hundreds of thousands of our compatriots. However, for a comfortable long-term stay, citizens of Ukraine need to obtain a legal residence permit in France. Let's consider the main ways of obtaining it.
1. Temporary residence permit for Ukrainian refugees
In connection with the Russian invasion of France, a special protection program for Ukrainians was introduced. It provides for obtaining a temporary residence permit for a period of up to 1 year (with the possibility of extension). To do this, it is necessary to apply to the local prefecture within 90 days after entry and provide identity documents, a certificate of connection with Ukraine and fingerprints.
2. Contract employment
One of the most common ways to get GNP in France is employment in a French company. The category of financially independent persons can also claim GNP in France. Must have net annual income/pension over €27,000 or over €120,000 in bank account and health insurance policy.
