The Ukrainian QUED is used to classify various types of activities of enterprises and organizations. It contains numerical codes and names of various sectors of the economy.
This classifier helps authorities, statistical bodies and other interested parties in the analysis of economic activity, the collection of statistics and the development of economic policies. Each type of economic activity is assigned a corresponding code, which allows for its unique identification in administrative and statistical documents.
The procedure for changing the QUED in Ukraine is determined by the relevant legal acts. Usually, the procedure for changing the QUED may include the following steps:
1. Analysis of the need for changes. Before starting the process of changing the QUED an analysis of the need for changes is carried out. This may include reviewing the relevance and accuracy of the classification of various types of economic activity.
2. Development of proposals for changes. On the basis of the results of the analysis, proposals are made for making changes to the QUED. This may include adding new categories, correcting or clarifying existing ones, and removing obsolete or unnecessary codes.
3. Making decisions and approving changes. Based on the results of the analysis and discussions, a decision is made to make the necessary changes to the QUED. Adding classifiers to documents is important, especially when drafting various types of legal documents or business organization. State registrars and notaries have the responsibility and authority to carry out such actions, ensuring their legality and compliance with legislation. In the case of contacting a notary to add classifiers to documents, it is important to first of all clarify whether he provides this service, as not all notaries can do it.
To change the QUED in Ukraine, you will need to submit a corresponding application to the relevant authorities or use electronic platforms that provide such an opportunity. This may include filling out an application form and indicating the new activities for which you want to change the QUED. After the application is submitted, an official review and confirmation of the changes is expected.
The main package of documents that legal entities must provide to change the QUED :
1. A document confirming the previous QUED code that was assigned to a legal entity.
2. An official document confirming the state registration of a legal entity.
3. Documents that contain new QUED codes that are planned to be included in the registration data.
4. A formal request to change the QUED with relevant information about the new codes and other necessary details.
5. A document confirming statistical data on new activities may be required.
6. If the application is not submitted by the owner of the enterprise, a power of attorney from the owner to represent his interests may be required. These documents should be prepared and submitted in accordance with the requirements of the law for a successful change of the QUED of a legal entity.
