Registration of care for a minor child can occur in various situations, for example:
Parental care:

In cases where the parents are unable to provide an adequate level of care, a guardian or custodian may be appointed to care for the child. It can be other relatives, social security institutions or other persons.

Basic steps for registration of care for a minor child
1. Collection of necessary documents.
To start the care registration process, the following documents must be collected: a statement from the potential guardian/guardian, copies of passports and identification codes, documents confirming family ties (if any), health certificate of the potential guardian/guardian, income certificate and other financial documents confirming the possibility of supporting a child, characteristics from the place of work or study.
2. Appeal to the children's service.
It is necessary to submit the application and the collected documents to the children's service at the place of residence of the child or potential guardian/guardian.
3. Examination of living conditions.
Children's Services conducts an inspection of the prospective guardian/guardian's living arrangements to ensure that they meet the requirements for supporting the child.
4. Preparation of the conclusion.
The Children's Affairs Service prepares a conclusion on the possibility/impossibility of appointing a guardian/guardian. This conclusion includes information about the living conditions, health status of the potential guardian/guardian, his moral qualities, etc.
5. Decision of the guardianship authority.
The guardianship authority (usually the executive committee of the local council) considers the opinion of the children's service and makes a decision on the appointment of a guardian/guardian.
6. Judicial review (if necessary).
In some cases (for example, if one of the parents does not agree with the appointment of a guardian), the case can be considered in court. The court makes a decision on the basis of the submitted documents and the conclusions of the guardianship authority.
