Social pension by age without work experience is recalculated
Social security pensions are a type of pension provided by the government or pension authorities to support people on low incomes or people who have no other sources of income at retirement age. They are designed to meet the basic needs of people of retirement age, which may be complicated by financial difficulties.
Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 27.12. 2017 N 1098 approved the Procedure for assigning temporary state social assistance to an unemployed person who has reached the general retirement age, but has not acquired the right to a pension payment. This social assistance is assigned to persons who do not have sufficient insurance experience to receive a pension, and also do not have other sources of income.
The detailed conditions and procedures for assigning and receiving this aid are determined by the specified Procedure, which can be found in the relevant official documents of Ukraine. This benefit can be an important source of financial support for retirees who do not have enough insurance experience to receive a pension, but have reached retirement age.
Pensioners who do not have enough insurance experience to receive a pension according to the established criteria may be entitled to receive social assistance. This social assistance can be provided by the government or pension authorities in order to meet the basic needs of these persons in retirement.
Social assistance can include various types of support, such as cash payments, assistance with obtaining medicines, housing assistance, etc.Specific conditions and types of assistance may vary depending on country laws and policies.
So, if a person does not have enough insurance to qualify for a pension, they may still be eligible for social assistance which can help meet their basic needs at retirement age.
Calculation of social pension by age
The social pension by age without work experience is recalculated every 6 months, taking into account property changes and average monthly total income. This means that the amount of the social pension can be revised and changed every 6 months based on changes in the property status and income of the pensioner.
Recalculation of the social pension is carried out taking into account property changes, such as a change in the size of the property, ownership of real estate, receiving an inheritance or other financial assets.
The pensioner's average monthly gross income is also taken into account to determine whether his current level of income meets the requirements for receiving a social pension and whether it needs to be adjusted.
This recalculation process ensures a more accurate reflection of the pensioner's financial situation and the provision of adequate support according to his needs and capabilities.
According to the norms of the above-mentioned resolution, the amount of temporary assistance is calculated as the difference between the living wage for persons who have lost their working capacity and the average monthly total family income per person for the previous six months. However, the amount of this benefit cannot exceed 100 percent of the subsistence minimum for persons who have lost their ability to work. This policy is aimed at ensuring a minimum level of social protection for unemployed persons who do not have sufficient insurance experience to receive a pension, but have reached retirement age.
List of documents for receiving a social pension
In order to apply for this assistance, a person must submit the necessary documents to the social protection authorities at the place of residence or actual residence.
Here is a list of necessary documents that may be required to receive temporary state assistance:
1. A document certifying the pensioner's identity and place of residence, as well as an identification number.
2. Certificate of existing insurance experience, which can be obtained from the Pension Fund at the pensioner's request. This document serves as confirmation of insurance experience.
3. Declaration of income and property status, which is filled out on the basis of income certificates of each family member for the last six months preceding the month of applying for assistance.
Providing these documents helps government agencies provide adequate and timely support to individuals who need temporary government assistance.
