1. Introduction
Business trips are an integral part of the work of many employees. However, during a business trip, a situation may arise when an employee falls ill and needs to receive a sick leave, or so-called "sick leave". 2. Legislative regulation
2.1. Basic normative acts
The procedure for issuing and paying sick leave during a business trip is governed by the following regulations:

4. Peculiarities of paying sick leave during a business trip
4.1. Returning from a business trip
After the end of the business trip or after recovery, the employee must return to the main place of work and provide the original sick leave certificate to the employer.
4.2. Calculation of assistance
The calculation of benefits in connection with temporary incapacity during a business trip is carried out according to general rules, based on the average salary of the employee and the duration of his insurance experience.
4.3. Payment of aid
Allowance in connection with temporary incapacity during a business trip is paid by the employer on the basis of the provided documents. Payment is made at the expense of the Social Insurance Fund.
5. Special cases
5.1. Business trip abroad
If an employee falls ill during a business trip abroad, he must contact a medical facility in the country of stay. The certificate of incapacity for work issued by a foreign medical institution must be translated into Ukrainian and notarized. Upon return, the employee submits this document to the employer for the calculation of benefits.
5.2. Long-term treatment
