In what circumstances is there a right to receive compensation for unused days of additional leave?
The right to compensation is reserved for military servicemen under contract in the event of non-use of such leave in the year of dismissal or at the time of dismissal.
Military personnel (except for military servicemen of fixed-term military service) who are entitled to additional annual leave in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine are paid compensation for all calendar days of unused additional leave, provided in full or in proportion to the time served in the year of dismissal.
At the same time, the monetary allowance for the period of leave granted or the amount of monetary compensation for all unused days of the annual basic leave, as well as days of additional leave in the year of dismissal, is calculated from the following calculation:
those who have a length of service of up to 10 calendar years - 2.5 calendar days;
those who have a length of service of 10 to 15 calendar years - 2.9 calendar days;
those who have a length of service of 15 to 20 calendar years - 3.3 calendar days;
those with 20 or more calendar years of service - 3.8 calendar days.
That is, during the special period, it is impossible to receive compensation except through exemption from military service.
